DTS Provident Receives Inaugural “Y” Planner Award

At a May 3rd luncheon, Yonkers Mayor Philip Amicone awarded DTS Provident the inaugural “Y” Planner Award for its work on the Ridge Hill Village project. The “Y” awards were given to organizations that have produced exceptional results on the most significant development projects in the City of Yonkers during the past 10 years. The mayor’s proclamation reads in part:
- WHEREAS: As Mayor of the City of Yonkers, I appreciate those organizations whose combined efforts have contributed to the success of the significant development projects in our City and whose unwavering commitment to Yonkers has had a positive influence throughout our community, and
- WHEREAS: Foremost among these entities is DIVNEY TUNG & SCHWALBE, who has been selected to receive the ‘Planner Award’ during the 12th Annual Business Week ‘Y’ Awards Luncheon, and
- WHEREAS: DIVNEY TUNG & SCHWALBE is recognized this day for its land planning, site engineering, environmental impact statement approvals and construction services to the Ridge Hill Village Project, ensuring that all the planning, design and engineering issues were clearly identified, addressed and coordinated, thus resulting in the project being developed in a timely and efficient manner, and
- WHEREAS: Artfully conceived as an outdoor Main Street venue when fully developed, Ridge Hill Village will be a mixed-use 81.4 acre regional lifestyle center, featuring a lively streetscape along its main street with extensive show windows, lush landscaping, abundant trees and a distinctive Town Square at its center and will be an outdoor oasis of elegant shopping and gracious dining.
