Associate Steve Tarabokija has over seventeen years of experience and progressive responsibility in traffic and civil engineering consulting for land development and infrastructure projects.  He is the lead engineer for the firm on various projects, including the five million square foot mixed-use development known as the American Dream project in East Rutherford, New Jersey.  In addition to the American Dream project, Steve is currently heavily involved in various projects such as Novartis Pharmaceuticals in East Hanover, New Jersey and in the modifications of forty Traffic Signals in New Rochelle, New York.

Steve specializes in Traffic Engineering Services, Traffic Planning Services and Parking Studies as well as Traffic Signal Design.  As a result of such experience, he has accumulated significant technical expertise with the application and use of such software programs as HCS7, Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, AutoTurn and GuideSign, among others.  Steve also has surveying experience and serves as the firm’s internal IT Specialist.

He has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College as well as a B.S. in Mathematics from St. Thomas Aquinas College.  Steve is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers as well as Chi Epsilon, Honorary Civil Engineering Society; Kappa Mu Epsilon, Honorary Mathematics Society; and Alpha Chi, Honorary Scholarship Society.
