Christopher S. Hanzlik, EIT, CPESC, CPSWQ

Associate Christopher Hanzlik has over 38 years of experience and progressive responsibility at the firm in civil/site engineering consulting for land development and infrastructure projects.  He is an EIT in the State of New York and is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC) as well as in Storm Water Quality (CPSWQ).  His qualifications include extensive hands-on planning, field investigation, design, permitting, cost estimating, golf course design, construction services (including construction inspection), and project management.

Chris’s background includes extensive service to public and private-sector clientele, including Westchester County, New York State DOT, Village of Tarrytown, Peekskill School District, and Toll Brothers.  He currently serves in the capacity of Project Manager for the Civil Engineering Group with responsibilities that include preparation and quality control of project design and construction plans, specifications, and reports, delegation of project work tasks, scheduling, client relationships, and budgeting.

A highly respected specialist in the field of storm water management and regulatory compliance, Chris conducts numerous presentations on the subject throughout the metropolitan area.  He has specialized training from the Cornell University Cooperative Extension on Stormwater Design for Linear Projects and on Stormwater Green Infrastructure Design as well as from the Center for Watershed Protection’s Storm Water Program and Design Institute.  On behalf of Westchester County, Chris has been heavily involved with Storm Water Management and other infrastructure upgrades at the Westchester County Airport over the past two decades.

Chris has been a Planning Board member and is currently a Zoning Board member in his hometown.  He is a graduate of Manhattan College with a degree in Civil Engineering and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the EnviroCert International CPESC and CPSWQ Programs.
