Habitat for Humanity

On January 18, 2010, DTS staff joined with volunteers from schools, churches and other community groups to work at various Habitat for Humanity building sites in Westchester as a part of Martin Luther King Week. DTS helped with interior and exterior activities at the Howard Avenue “flood house” in Mamaroneck, which is being reconstructed in a flood proof, wind proof, and “green” manner to replace a home that was extensively damaged by the April 2007 flooding of the Mamaroneck River.
