Edge-On-Hudson Groundbreaking
A long-awaited groundbreaking was held on May 18th at the former General Motors assembly plant site in Sleepy Hollow, New York for Edge-On-Hudson. Village and County officials described the extensive planning process, beginning before the plant’s 1996 closure, that set the groundwork for the Edge-On-Hudson mixed-use community to be constructed along the shoreline of the Hudson River. The program will include 1,177 residential units, 135,000 square feet of retail space, 30,000 square feet of office, a 140-room hotel, and an extensive network of open space improvements, including a waterfront promenade. The first phase of construction will include 306 residences, comprised of townhomes, condominiums and rental apartments, of which 61 units will qualify as affordable units. DTS has been providing planning, site engineering and landscape architectural services for the project since 2000. For more, click here.
